Erwin Peeters

Erwin Peeters

Sculpture bronze

As a zookeeper working in the Antwerp Zoo, he was fascinated by the beauty and behavior of the fauna. 20 years later he is still passionate about the sculptor work and his name has occupied an important place in the world of animal sculptors. Especially the 'soul' in the bronze animals are characteristic of his work.

Frank Vanhooren

Frank Vanhooren

Sculpture ceramics

Frank creates more or less the same antropomorf figures with different emotional facial expressions. Te viewer is confronted with the figures, who are mostly displayed in frontal view, with almost closed eyelids. They seem stoic end frozen, captured in a moment that will never release them.

Kieta Nuij

Sculpture bronze

Kieta Nuij

Sculpture bronze

Kieta Nuij makes sculptures in bronze. The starting point is always the man in all his experiences. The inner image is made visible and tangible. Grace and beauty, serene movement, but also stress, struggle, the rough edges of the experience. Her sculptures are a reflection of the soul.

In his undoubtedly laborious photomontages he takes us into his bizarre but also full of humor-fantasy world. "His attention to details is what makes his photographs stand out" wrote the American Rapper and superstar Kanye West in his blog about the artwork.

Creating... makes me grateful for what comes from my hands. Creating is looking for the bright and dark side of my life and is searching for the light and dark side of the artwork.

Mieke Drossaert

Painting

Voluminous characters, stripped of their individuality and looking outside the box, away from the spectator. Happy paintings with warm, greedy characters that enjoy good life, just like the artist. Her figures do not have the perfect body. In the eyes of the public they're the happy people, happy dreamers.

Peggy De Meue

Peggy De Meue

Photography/digital art/mixed media

Peggy's father inaugurated her into photography and image manipulation. She tells different stories and censures none: her own contribution to this magical world. It so happens that the world isn't perfect, it's just those imperfections -differences- that makes life interesting. That's also the mix you can find in her art.
